ORYUKDO / 오륙도

BUSAN

About:

Oryukdo, which literally translates from Korean as 'Five-six Island', is considered a monument of Busan and is located just off the Southern coast. Depending on the tide, it can appear as either five (low-tide) or six (high-tide) islands, hence its name. If you have been following Bangtan Logs, you would recognize this as a place that Jimin filmed at back in the New Year of 2015.

Directions:

Take exit 5 at Kyungsung Univ./Pukyong Nat'l Univ. Station (Line 2). Turn 180 degrees when you exit and make a right turn around the corner ahead. Walk straight ahead until you hit a bus stop (this should be after the first street you see on you right). Take bus 27 for 13 stops and alight at Oryukdo SK View Back Gate (오륙도SK뷰후문). You should be able to see the Oryukdo Skywalk as well as the rocky area by the sea (in front of the carpark) where Jimin filmed his log.
